Negotiated and acquired new US brand licenses. Defined and proactively promoted company position, image, brand and character within the US market.

As Managing Director for an international division of a $M manufacturer and supplier of natural based hotel and spa amenities including Aveda, Herbal Essences, Caswell-Massey, Davies Gate, Red Earth and Bath Bloomers, I established relationships with key distributors and properties in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia, including manufacturing operations in China. Key accounts included Le Meridien, Intercontinental and Jurys Doyle.

As Area Sales Manager for an amenities manufacturer/supplier, received “Outstanding Sales Performer” awards and consistently exceeded sales goals. Responsible for hiring, developing and managing US sales team consisting of sales representatives and distributor sales managers with annual sales of over $M.

In the role of Vice President, Sales for an international manufacturer of resort and spa apparel, developed and implemented strategy to expand sales in the US, Mexico and Latin America. Responsible for planning exhibits, representing the organization at domestic and international trade shows, and sourcing products with suppliers in Turkey, Pakistan and China. Managed corporate and spa accounts including Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Bellagio and Starwood.

As Vice President Sales for a gourmet food manufacturer/wholesaler, led a successful program that expanded sales to food brokers, prestigious national and regional department stores, resorts, hotels and restaurants. Retail accounts included Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Sak’s Fifth Avenue and Harvey Nichols. Results included overall company sales increase of over % in the first year.

As Consultant for Sak’s “Fifth Avenue Club” needing to establish client base and achieve sales without being able to advertise, initiated innovative marketing efforts, including devising and implementing corporate client program, which resulted in % increase in client base.
