Economic Development Assistant/Base Liaison representing the Office of Mayor Responsibilities included former Charleston Naval Base Complex redevelopment; asset management; fiscal management; assisted in programming, design & elements for the North Charleston Riverfront Park, The Greater Charleston Naval Base Memorial, the CSS Hunley Museum, Noisette Sustainable Redevelopment Project (3,000 acres), the Clemson University Restorative Institute (CURI), and tenant management. Assisting new, relocating and expanding business in North Charleston; Liaison with local, county, state, national and international government legislators and representatives, film industry, entities (i.e. Chambers of Commerce, convention & tourism entities, maritime, development authorities);Public relations, fund raising, producing special City events, marketing & municipal collateral; Organized non-profits: The Youth Endowment for the Arts and the Greater Charleston Naval Base Memorial; Film Industry Liaison; and all other duties assigned by Mayor.
