Instrumentation Design Specialist
Duties include working with Project Engineers and Project Managers to execute instrumentation and automation projects. Duties include field walkdowns at clients sites, attendance at client meetings, participation in project scoping and estimating, the development and review/approval of Instrumentation and Control packages for heavy industrial, refining, pipeline or similar facilities, attending project team meetings and status meetings, participation in FAT / SAT , project loop checks and startups. Participate in the occasional training and development of less experienced staff members.
Develop simple and complex loop diagrams, instrument indexes, and wiring/connection diagrams. Specify control system instruments and develop construction scope for client specifications. Design DCS and PLC installations, including control room layouts, networking systems, I/O Marshalling and Terminal Cabinets, power supplies, interposing relays, transducers and other instrument and control hardware and installations. Detail electronic and pneumatic instrument installations and develop conduit routing in existing facilities.
Sr. Instrumentation and Controls Engineer
Develop and provide front-end engineering design (FEED) of I & C in industrial and municipal water & wastewater arena which includes engineering specification, system control narratives, valve sizing, flow metering sizing, etc. Design I & C system package which includes P&ID’s, process control & motor control circuit schematic diagrams, instrument loop diagrams (ILD’s), logic diagrams, instrument index, and cable schedules. Work involves integration of hardware and software, project cost estimations, and hardware selections which includes computers, programmable logic controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), Variable frequency drives (VFD), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems and Remote Terminal Units (RTU), Instrumentation, and Analyzers.
Support construction, witness and verify I & C test in preparation for plant start-up and ensure the test procedures are in accordance with manufacturers’ manuals. Verify readiness of I & C system equipment for start-up such as punch list items are corrected, calibration & loop checking are completed. Troubleshoot and resolve problems incurred during installation and start-up of process control systems.

Involve in Engineering, Procurement, & Construction (EPC) of HS Removal and Sulfur Recovery Plant.
