HART ASSOCIATES
Designed and facilitated program on “Becoming a Learning Organization” for senior managers of this medical billing company. Coached them on how to strategize and to motivate staff for future growth.

JOSLIN DIABETES CENTER
Designed Strategic Planning process working with senior staff, and facilitated full-staff retreat on mission and values clarification. Successfully engaged participants to gain their buy-in, which resulted in improved morale and improved staff performance. Provided coaching to VP and senior managers, focusing on performance improvement.

State & Federal Government
CRIMINAL JUSTICE INSTITUTE/ NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CORRECTIONS
Designed and facilitated a weeklong meeting on Organizational Culture Assessment and Culture Change, for corrections officials, including wardens, superintendents, and change advisors. Guided participants to develop a process linking readiness for change, assessment, and change interventions. Facilitation resulted in improving the screening process and the assessment protocol.

DEPT. OF PUBLIC HEALTH DIABETES PROGRAM & OBESITY PROGRAM
Designed and facilitated a visioning process for both programs to analyze the current state and populations at-risk, and to determine priorities for the next five-year grant cycle. Facilitation process helped Obesity program get “unstuck,” and enabled both programs to develop grant proposals that were awarded CDC funding (Centers for Disease Control). Facilitation resulted in their developing a successful proposal which was awarded CDC funding.

MASS. TOBACCO CONTROL PROGRAM
Designed and facilitated meetings to create statewide strategic planning process to address disparities in tobacco usage. Worked with multiple stakeholders to gather data on tobacco-use in their community, barriers to change, and communication channels to enable prevention and treatment efforts. Designed retreat to share best practices in “Health Systems Change” for multi-state meeting. Designed meeting for multiple stakeholders to address the disproportional high rates of tobacco use in the LGBT population.

DEPT. OF PUBLIC HEALTH AIDS BUREAU
Consulted to Director of Human Resources: updated HR policies, revised Performance Management system, identified competencies for job descriptions, and created New Hire Orientation. Coached supervisors on giving performance feedback. Guided AIDS Bureau to create standards of excellence in customer service for MIS and Admin departments. As a result, Admin Support team won a Mass. State Achievement Award.

Non-Profit

BOSTON FACILITATORS ROUNDTABLE President -Present
Developed thriving professional learning community, focusing on best practices in change management, training and facilitation. Design programs and coach presenters to create dynamic interactive workshops. Increased membership by %. PATHFINDER INTERNATIONAL
Designed and facilitated staff retreat on process improvement, clarification of roles and responsibilities and improving communication between two units in this reproductive health organization. Used Appreciative Inquiry to improve proposal development process.
