Quality Assurance Document Analyst February 1989 – December 2007

I worked directly for the Director of Product and Custom Services. In this capacity I was responsible for the overall quality and data integrity of client applications. I achieved this by working in direct support of the Vice President of Production Systems and Data Bases and the Vice President of Product Development. Working with project managers, software engineers and inter-departmental disciplines we develop the new client applications. I was the lead and coordinator for the Beta testing of new programs created for our clients using the test scripts and user scripts that I have authored. We put the applications through regression testing, smoke tests and functionality testing. We also test the user interface and middleware. This is where my analytical and problem solving skills come into play. I was one of the final pre-release night testers. With the completion of a client application I assured that the reporting and integrity of data for all products was accurate and functioning prior to client presentation. This means I had troubleshot all data for possible discrepancies and was satisfied with the results.

In my administrative capacity I approved the client’s weekly, monthly and quarterly expenditure reports after verifying the accuracy of these expenses I forward them to the Data Base Group where they are entered into the clients data base for client use. I verified the data base figures loaded by the data base group to assure their data integrity.

I was responsible for application training of all new quality assurance analysts. Application training was not limited to my department I have given application training to senior level executives, members of our sales force, client product support group and members of the data base group.

I have performed quality assurance checks on Classification Operators to verify the accuracy of their work. These operators monitor advertising on Cable Networks, Televised Networks, Hispanic Networks and Canadian Cable in addition to 100+ Local U.S. Markets. I prepared status reports, spreadsheets and graphs to track and monitor quality assurance and applications data. I utilized my Excel spread sheets and SQL queries expertise for trending and forecasting data. I researched and developed QA procedures for new products.
