To see the effect of different media on growth of Spathiphyllum petite.
To see the effect of BAP hormone for multiple shoot induction and shoot length with varying concentrations.
To study which media is best for optimum growth of this ornamental plant.

Project Name: “Optimization of PCR Methods for Quality Assessment of Medicinal Plants for Herbal Drug Technology ”
Completed at: Vidya Pratishthan’s School Of Biotechnology, Baramati.
Duration: 6 Months
Description:
The objectives of the project were: -
To isolate the genomic DNA of medicinal plants using a standard protocol.
To purify the genomic DNA using Anion Exchange Columns (DEAE Cellulose)
To optimize the PCR conditions for RAPD and ISSR markers.
