Year 2002-2004, LM College of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad, India.

Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Formulation Development, Modern Analyical Techniques, Biostatistics etc.
My Dissertation work was on Preparation and Evaluation of Metformin
Hydrochloride Controlled Release Dosage Form.
Metformin Hydrochoride is a highly water-soluble drug which leads to difficulty in providing
a slow release rate from formulation. The controlled release effect was achieved by using
different Hydrophilic polymers. Studies were conducted to understand the pattern of drug
release and the formulated tablet was evaluated for Dissolution Characteristics. Drug Release
was quantitatively estimated by UV Spectrophotometry.

I worked on formulation development and planning of solid dosage forms for the generic market. The work involved formulation of tablets, capsules and pellets for immediate release and controlled release, conducting pre-formulation studies, preparation of technical documents and conducting stability studies.
2. Worked as a Research Assistant in Panacea Biotec Ltd., Lalru, India, in Formulation, Research and Development Department from Aug 2005 to Dec 2005.

Promed gave me an opportunity to work on liquid dosage forms. I carried out formulation of opthalmics, otic solutions, injections and inhalation solution for nebulisers and preparation of syrups and suspensions. I was also involved in the scale-up of formulations, carried out stability studies on pilot batches.
I am well versed with international regulatory market rules & regulations like US FDA, ICH guidelines.

ACHIEVEMENTS:
Secured 95.99 percentile in GATE examination (2002) conducted by the six Indian Institutes of Technology and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, on behalf of the National Coordinating Board - GATE, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India.
