Job Description:

In this position, the majority of the work would be outdoors in all kinds of weather. Must have good mechanical skills as required in the repair/replacement of all plant equipment, including but not limited to pumps, instruments, chemical feed equipment, etc. Must be able to make mathematical calculations to determine chemical doses required for flow rates and proper treatment.

To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or GED. Must have valid driver’s license. The ideal candidate must also have a “Class B” Pennsylvania Wastewater license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board for Certification of Water and Wastewater Systems Operators and the regulations of the Department of Environmental Protection. Position requires maintenance of this license through appropriate continuing education as determined by regulatory agencies having jurisdiction over this license.
