Fabricates all rotors and small, special stators to work order specifications. Assembles and repairs stators. Measures lamination to ensure proper size stacks for each core to be welded and/or fabricated. Ensures all components of welding equipment are in good condition. Welds steel lamination on appropriate mandrels. Assembles and repairs small stators. Must have ability to read precision measuring instruments. Must be able to read blueprints and work order tickets. Must have basic TIG, arc and gas welding experience. Must be mechanically inclined. Must be able to use power and hand tools. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
