Description:

This individual will teach assigned courses in accordance with description published in catalog and the approved course outline, in accordance with schedule of classes, and incorporating alternative approaches, technologies, and methods when possible. Also, serves on divisional, discipline and all-college committees.

Master’s degree in History (Ph.D. strongly preferred), and at least one year of teaching experience at the college level. Though teaching Western Civilization will be the primary assignment, preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Latin American History or African History. Willingness to use alternative educational delivery systems and instructional techniques, including computer-based education.
