This position is focused on managing a contractor site for a major consumer products company. This position will be responsible for the direction and management of operations for production, maintenance, quality, shipping & receiving and other production related activities in a distribution center facility. This position directs and monitors departmental supervisors to accomplish goals of the client’s business, consistent with established manufacturing and safety procedures as well as tracking projects and ensuring they are handled and completed accurately and timely. The ideal candidate will be self-directing, positive, creative and energetic with a strong sense of urgency. He/she must excel in working closely with clients. In addition he/she must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and cross-cultural sensitivity that will earn the respect of a diverse workforce.
Experience/Educational Requirements:
· Well seasoned manufacturing operations manager (minimum 7 years)
· Expert problem resolution and process improvement
· Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Green Belt a plus
· Safety background a plus
· Excellent Communication skills
· BS preferred, Bachelors required with minimum 3.0 GPA
