Job Description: |
The Assessment Advisor works with faculty, program coordinators and administrators at the College to develop credit for prior learning equivalencies, programs, and agreements through organizations with which the College has developed or is developing a special relationship or partnership. This individual will provide students in these programs with prior learning assessment and student services. In addition, this individual will provide prior learning assessment and other student services to the general student body. This position requires travel to off campus sites to meet with students at other DCCC campuses and outside organizations and companies. Requirements: Master's degree in education, counseling, higher education or other related field; experience in higher education is required; experience with credit for prior learning and/or academic advisement desired; strong interpersonal communication skills; ability to travel to off-campus sites; flexible work hours required (at least one evening a week).
