Job Description: |
As a Web Programmer for Fire Mountain Gems and Beads, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled programmers and designers, developing and maintaining our industry-leading eCommerce site. One of the key objectives you will be involved in will be migrating to .NET V2.0 technology. Continuously developing a site which offers our customers the best user experience in the industry is our priority. Primary Responsibilities: Maintenance of web site programming. Design, coding and implementation of new programming initiatives to make Fire Mountain Gems and Beads’ site more customer-friendly and responsive. Essential Qualifications: Strong background in Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP), ADO, HTML, DHTML, VBScript, JavaScript. Experience with Object Oriented Programming and Design. Familiarity with .NET technologies. Strong database experience including database design, stored procedures, indexes, triggers, and views. Experience in developing full life cycle web/database applications. Basic understanding of Internet technologies, such as TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, XML, SSL. Familiarity with Ecometry and the Direct Marketing industry a plus. Flexible, creative, and team-oriented with strong problem solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
