Job Description: |
Environmental Project Manager – Remediation – UST Environmental Remediation Consulting firm located in Sacramento, CA is seeking an Environmental Project Manager (Engineer or Geologist) with 4-8 years of experience with regards to petroleum related remediation projects. Duties will include but are not limited to managing site assessments, evaluation and implementation of remedial technologies, overseeing drilling, managing monitoring well installation, report generation and review, design of remediation systems, scheduling of staff for field assignments, hiring subcontractors, tracking scope of work and budgets, and ensuring staff compliance with health and safety policies and procedures. Management responsibilities include overseeing the work of 1-2 staff members. Environmental Project Manager must have strong client, consultant, and project management skills and the desire to work within a fast paced result oriented work environment along side a strong technical support team. Environmental Project Manager must have 6-8 years of environmental consulting experience, (minimum of) Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science. Current 40 Hour HAZWOPER, working knowledge of California DOE regulations. Professional Registration in California as a P.E. or P.G. is preferred but not required.
