Job Description: |
Environmental Project Engineer / Geologist – Remediation – UST (Sacramento, CA) Environmental Remediation Consulting firm located in Sacramento, CA is seeking an Environmental Project Engineer / Geologist with 2-5 years of experience with regards to petroleum related environmental remediation projects. Duties will include but are not limited to providing technical support to senior engineers and geologist in the management of a major petroleum portfolio. Will perform environmental remediation assignments under the supervision of a senior geologist or engineer such as the evaluation of field data, preparation of site investigation reports, corrective action plans, conceptual models, review of groundwater reports, preparing environmental permits, design support and installation of remediation systems, work plan activities, subcontractor scheduling, and system operations and maintenance activities. Environmental Project Engineer / Geologist must have 2-5 years of environmental industry consulting experience; B.S. degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science. Current EIT certification. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 40 Hr HAZWOPER certification is preferred but not required.
