Job Description: |
Position: Senior Electrical Engineer (Professional / Licensed Engineer, PE) Location: Sacramento, CA (Natomas Area) Compensation: $75K- $85K annual base + annual performance bonuses Term: Full Time Employment Regional Design Build Construction Management & Engineering Consultant currently has an immediate opening for California Licensed Electrical Engineer to join its Sacramento Engineering and Architecture department. Required Skills: The Electrical Engineer will perform electrical engineering design reviews, plan checks and constructability reviews of various commercial, industrial, and institutional building power and lighting projects. Electrical Engineer will ensure that project designs are fundamentally sound and meet all applicable code requirements. Perform value engineering reviews. Perform field inspections and analyze field changes as necessary. Assist Estimating Department as required in developing estimates. Perform design of electrical power, lighting, and low voltage systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Stamp engineering documents as required. Required Experience: Minimum of 7 to 10 years electrical engineering experience in the design of electrical power, lighting, and low voltage systems for large commercial, industrial, or institutional building projects. Bachelors or masters degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred. Registered professional engineer in the state of California is required. Must have excellent oral, written, and presentation skills; experience in design reviews, plan checking, and constructability reviews, value engineering, project management and project scheduling, and estimating.
