Job Description: |
Position: Licensed HVAC Mechanical Engineer, PE (HVAC Systems Projects) Location: Sacramento, CA (Natomas Area) Compensation: $75K- $85K annual base + annual performance bonuses Term: Full Time Employment Regional Design Build Construction Management & Engineering Consultant currently has an immediate opening for California Licensed Mechanical Engineer to join its Sacramento Engineering and Architecture department. Required Skills: HVAC Mechanical Engineer includes performing technical review and analysis of mechanical designs and construction. Establish design, equipment and various system standards. Participate in value engineering sessions with A/E team and owner. Confirm that design appears fundamentally sound and addresses applicable codes. Review constructability of design. Perform field inspections, access condition of mechanical systems and equipment, and write detailed reports. Assist Estimating as required in developing estimates. Stamp documents that have been designed and engineered. Must have exceptional writing, verbal, and presentation skills. The position requires a wide range of HVAC and plumbing expertise. Required Experience: Minimum of five years of HVAC Mechanical Engineering design experience with commercial, healthcare, institutional, or Education buildings. Ability to perform site evaluations, code/design reviews and value engineering studies. Additional requirements include exceptional writing, verbal and presentation skills and AutoCAD proficiency.
