Project Architect/ Licensed Architect/ Architectural Project Manager - Sacramento, California Large, forward thinking, and numerous award-winning Architectural Design & Planning practice with immediate need and opportunity for a technically skilled, team oriented, and talented Project Architect / Licensed Architect to join our sustainable design and healthcare project oriented Sacramento, California office. Ranked amongst the top ten architectural consulting firms in Sacramento we are renown for creating high-performance, fiscally responsible and award-winning buildings and interiors for public oriented projects such as hospitals, correctional facilities, college and universities, police stations/ fire stations, and judicial buildings. Position: Project Architect / Licensed Architect / Architectural Project Manager Location: Sacramento, CA (95815) Compensation: $80,000 to $95,000 annual base salary plus comprehensive benefits and bonus package. Skills and Experience Required: California architectural license required. Graduate of an accredited architectural, interior design or planning school with a minimum of four years diverse experience with an increasing level of responsibility in an architectural, interior design or planning office. Past experience and involvement with healthcare, education, institutional or civic architecture design and planning projects. (strongly preferred but not required) Must have basic knowledge of architectural/interior design practices. Basic experience in design development and presentation documents. Ability to interpret plans and specifications. Ability to perform preliminary site planning analysis programming and planning. Job Responsibilities: Under the direction of Project Manager or Project Architect, assists in all design and/or production aspects in areas of routine project development. Can assist in routine project architect responsibilities; materials research, detail development and communications with consultants. Under direction of Project Manager, or Architect, carries out the design and/or production aspects of small projects or parts of the design of larger, complex projects. (The extent of design responsibility will vary depending upon the characteristics of the project, its size and complexity, its design objectives and specific experience of the project team). Coordinates closely with the project team regarding design and production concepts. Coordinates closely with Project Manager regarding office production standards and procedures as well as technical requirements. Participates in or prepares presentations on design concepts and design development whether drawings, models or studies. Has advanced CADD skills including advanced level understanding of CADD theory, software and hardware.
